Over the past few days, we have received many messages from clients, property owners and partners regarding Dominique, who passed away on Friday, 30 January. We wished to pay tribute to her through this article dedicated to her.
Dominique joined the Villa Vie team in 2017. For several years, she managed the agency’s administration with remarkable rigour and efficiency.
Beyond her professional skills, Dominique was above all a woman of faith, deeply strong and radiant. A mother of four, she faced the loss of her husband at a very young age. Despite this immense hardship, she always moved forward with courage, dignity and resilience, naturally inspiring respect from those around her.
Dominique was a joyful, energetic person who genuinely loved people, conversations, and human connection. She had a rare gift for bringing people together with simplicity and sincerity, creating meaningful bonds wherever she went.
Deeply committed to social life in the North of the island, Dominique also served her community as President of the Village Council of Grand Baie. She carried out this role with generosity and conviction, always guided by a sincere desire to be helpful and close to others.
Dominique leaves behind the memory of a warm, dedicated, and deeply human woman. Her smile, strength, and presence will continue to live on in our hearts and in the lives of all those who had the privilege of knowing her.
