The North – East, THE place to be!

Mauritius is an independent leading country in this region of the globe. However, it has been able to preserve all its natural beauty. The north-eastern part of the island has been successful to protect itself from the hustle and bustle of modern life. This is evidenced by the pristine and deserted beaches and the landscape which is still wild. Nevertheless, it should be noted that this somewhat “cut off from the rest of the world” aspect should not intimidate you, because to reside in this part of Mauritius is to enjoy the second largest lagoon of the island, the proximity of the essential amenities of daily life and other facilities.

By choosing to settle in the north-eastern part of Mauritius, you will discover a different face of the island, one which is racy, pure, wild and far from urban energy, without having to turn your back to comfort. In fact, some of the most luxurious hotels in the country are found in this region because of these reasons!

The pristine and deserted beaches

Special Mention for the road leading to the East

To become totally immersed in this new environment, we strongly recommend that you ride along this quiet road, which connects Grand River South East to Mahebourg. You will thus ride alongside the coast and slowly descend towards the south of the island through small traditional villages, inhabited by fishermen and farmers. Look straight ahead and admire the Grand Port mountain range and do not hesitate to stop on the bridge of the Grand River South East and at Pointe du Diable.

A welcoming and luxurious village by the sea

Imagine a place where you have a beautiful villa or a luxurious apartment. This place, open on the sea, allows you to enjoy Mauritius, a country worthy of postcards and to live in a welcoming and warm community.

To fully enjoy this idyllic setting, the Azuri village, which has its own golf course, offers villas and apartments that are conveniently located by the sea. Situated between land and sea, this warm and welcoming community is located at just 20 minutes from French and international schools, at 5 minutes from the first supermarket in Rivière du Rempart and at 25 minutes from Grand Baie… Imagine the luxury of being able to indulge in nautical activities such as kitesurfing, various boards, sailing and a 9-hole golf course which will become available very soon.

By choosing the Northeast region, you will opt for a quality of life far from crowds and traffic jams while being a few minutes away from all the amenities you would need; you will enjoy Mauritius in all its glory!
