\u00cele aux Cerfs<\/a><\/strong>:<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nestled in the Trou d’Eau Douce lagoon, \u00cele aux Cerfs is probably one of the most famous and visited islands around Mauritius. Renowned for its long white sandy beaches, it also offers a host of activities for the whole family: 3 restaurants, a magnificent 19-hole golf course, an accrobranche course and water sports (parasailing, water skiing, wakeboarding, among others…).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Located off the south-east coast, Ile aux Aigrettes has been a protected nature reserve since 1965. This precious sanctuary for nature lovers offers an immersive experience in a preserved endemic flora. Through guided tours, you’ll have the opportunity to learn more about the conservation of this fragile ecosystem. The island is home to exceptional biodiversity with a unique fauna, including endemic species such as the pink pigeon and the Ornate gecko.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Flat Island<\/a><\/strong>:<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Off the north coast, Flat Island is known for its miles of white sandy beaches and turquoise waters. Classified as a nature reserve, it is teeming with endemic plants and lizards, as well as reefs and tropical fish. It’s the ideal place for snorkeling, swimming and beach picnics. To get there, however, you have to pass between two reefs, and the strong currents make access dangerous. We therefore recommend setting off early in the morning, when the sea is calmer.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
